On behalf of the Thomas Jefferson School in North Arlington, New Jersey, we would like to request a donation  to  be used in a fundraiser to supplement   our school budget. The Thomas Jefferson PTO enhances the education of our local school children by sponsoring activities such as educational field trips, cultural arts assemblies, as well as purchasing classroom technology, classroom supplies and other educational materials.

Funds raised yearly from  family and  generous local  business owners enabled us to make important upgrades in our school. Last year we raised enough money for much needed air-conditioners for every classroom. This would not have been possible without fundraising and individual contributions.  This year our primary focus will be new technology to use in the classrooms, such as tablets and document cameras.  There are twelve classrooms in our school.   Class sizes average 24 children and  currently the school only has two tablets available per classroom.

The Thomas Jefferson PTO is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Tax ID number is 223665309). In Early April of 2019 we will be having our yearly  fundraiser, our Tricky Tray.   Along with contributions from corporations and local business we hope to be able to successfully raise enough funds to purchase the new equipment. Such upgrades are not in the school budget and for the first time ever in our school, the newly elected PTO board is reaching out beyond its local community and asking for larger donations. We would like to encourage you to join our school community and make a fully tax-deductible contribution to be auctioned for the Tricky Tray fundraiser. We expect attendance will be around 350 people. Your company will be acknowledged in our event program and on our Facebook page.
