The Burn Camp, held at Camp Duncan in Ingleside IL, provides a setting for burn survivors to share their common experiences, and interact with other survivors in a safe environment where they do not feel self-conscious about their scars. The benefits to the campers are physical, psychological, and emotional. The money raised during the golf outing will be used to cover the cost for children to participate in the week long summer camp. Due to the need for 24-hour medical care, the cost of the camp can exceed $2000 per child.
