Greetings from the 5th grade students at Jefferson- Houston PreK-8 IB School in ALexandria, VA.  We have had a great school year of learning and growing!  We are now at the end of the year and will be middle schoolers next year.  To celebrate our accomplishments as well as our matriculation through elementary school, we would like to go to Six Flags of America in Landover, MD on June 9, during the STEM days that they hold from May 11- June 9.  We are requesting a donation from your organization to help make this trip possible.

There are 57 students and 6 chaperones.  The tickets are $36.99.  The total for this trip is $2689, which also includes $60 for the two school buses to park as well as a processing fee of $15.95.  We are a title 1 school with a number of students who may not get to experience such trips on their own.
