Our annual run/walk the Jingle Paws Classic 5K has become a tradition for many of our participants over the last 15 years. Raising funds and awareness for the mission of the Helotes Humane Society is done in the spirit of the holiday season. People and their canine companions come decked out in their holiday best. An atmosphere of fun is in the air as the runners, walkers and even babies and dogs in strollers, take off on a beautiful morning run. OP Schnabel Park is the perfect place for this event with its lovely trails and many trees. Jingle Paws is a fund way for the whole family to kick off the beginning of the season.
