My name is Katie Koshkin, and I am the Marketing Teacher and DECA sponsor at JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas.  DECA is an association of Marketing Students that helps students develop skills in entrepreneurship and sales as well as other marketing related skills.  When I started at JJP, there were only 30 students in the DECA program, and it was virtually inactive.  Today, we have over 200 student members, we take over 10 industry related field trips, attend out of state leadership conferences, and compete on the district, state, and national level.

We are currently preparing for our International Competition in April that will take place in Atlanta, GA.  As a part of our fundraising efforts, we are having an auction at our DECA Banquet.  We would love for you to partner with us and donate an item or gift card to be up for auction.  All the money raised will go directly to support the JJ Pearce DECA members.

Please let me know if your business is willing to donate coupons, products, gift cards, or anything that we can use as fundraising items.  We will be using the money collected to purchase our registration, transportation, and entrance to various DECA sponsored events while in Atlanta.  I am happy to pick up the donations at your earliest convenience or gift cards can also be mailed to the school’s address.  You will receive recognition from JJ Pearce DECA for your donations at various school events.
