Joaquin Miller 39th Annual Auction Fundraiser

Joaquin Miller Elementary School is seeking donations for the Joaquin Miller 39th Annual Auction Fundraiser, our school’s largest and most important fundraiser of the year. The event includes an online auction, which begins October 18, 2019, and live fundraising event known as the Joaquin Miller Jubilee held on November 2nd, 2019. Each year, more than 250 Bay Area supporters attend out auction fundraiser. The festive event include a silent auction, a live auction with a auctioneer, carnival-style fundraising games, food, drinks and dancing. The evening event takes place at Sequoyah Country Club in the beautiful Oakland hills of California.
Joaquin Miller is a K-5 public elementary school in Oakland, California. Our beloved school serves more than 400 children from diverse backgrounds, including our well-regarded Autism Spectrum Inclusion Program (ASIP). This community event is critical to our PTA’s ability to continue supporting our children’s education through vital and enriching educational programs that the Oakland Unified School District cannot provide, including:
- Library & Library Staff
- Computer Lab & Instructor
- Physical Education (Rhythm & Moves)
- Foreign Language (Spanish and Mandarin)
- Literacy Coach, Academic Tutors, and Teacher's Aides
- Living History Days
- Enrichment Scholarship Program
