The Down Syndrome Society of Wichita is preparing for its 6th annual Jokers & Jazz Bash in April 2024– an event designed to provide support to its programs for individuals with Down syndrome, while highlighting local champions and businesses that have taken great strides to support the special needs community. This lively nod to the roaring 20’s is an exceptional evening that includes cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, live jazz music, and laughs courtesy of a nationally recognized comedian.

This event allows for the organization to provide support for its programs and services, which are local. This includes Learning Series for parents and caregivers, summer camp-like experiences for children and youth, art and advocacy sessions for teens and adults, and adult independence skills building programs and job skills development. Donors at this event are eager to help move the organization toward fulfillment of its mission and by participating, they are doing just that! This is a fun, memorable experience where dollars truly make an impact!
