As a valued local business and community leader, Jones Academy PTA is requesting for support through donation by providing a bingo prize, raffle item or silent auction item in effort to support our Jones Family Alumni Bingo Fundraiser and Silent Auction. Our school, in the Arlington ISD, is part of the Specialized Program and is a Dual Language immersion and Fine Arts program. Our inaugural year was 2015 at the repurposed elementary school and the 2021-2022 school year is the first year that we will have alumni at the new Gunn Junior High School.

This year we are starting a new tradition of hosting an Alumni Bingo Night and Silent Auction to help grow the program and see our beautiful alumni return for a night. In addition to building our legacy of alumni, the PTA hopes to donate a big ticket item each and this year we have chosen a book vending machine. The book vending machine will be giving free English and Spanish books to students to encourage reading and lessen screen time. Teachers will give students opportunities to redeem coins at the Book Vending Machine throughout the school year such as a reward, positive behavior, showing kindness, etc.. Through our Bingo Night and Silent Auction we are hoping to accomplish our goal this year but we are looking for community donations to help us do that.
