Description

On May 15, the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO) will present its Annual Gala and Season
Finale. We invite you to join us in our efforts by contributing to our annual silent auction.
This year’s gala entitled, “Journey to the Stars: Celebrating 50 Years & Launching Into The
Future” will take place at the Meyerson Symphony Center, and highlights of the evening include
dinner at 6:30 p.m., an auction at 7 p.m., and a sensational performance featuring GDYO with
Music Director, Richard Giangiulio. Highlights of the concert will include the Dallas Symphony’s
Music Director, Fabio Luisi, conducting Verdi’s Overture to La Forze del Destino. GDYO will also
perform Holst’s The Planets featuring gorgeous, choreographed lighting to illustrate each
movement.
