Hello!  I am a parent at Joyner Elementary in Raleigh, NC and am in charge of our Foundation's Spring Fundraiser Silent Auction.  We are so appreciative of the generous donation Go Ape gave us last year that generated a lot of money for our school and are hoping for another donation this year.  I attached below more information about our Foundation and why it is so important for us to raise money.

I am writing today on behalf of the J.Y. Joyner Foundation to ask you to help support our children, our school and our community.  We have our Spring Fundraising event on May 2nd and hope to include an item from you in our silent auction. It is our goal to raise $100,000 in the 2023-2024 school year, making it the highest fundraising year to date for the Foundation. 

Founded in the 2015 school year, the J.Y. Joyner Foundation provides support to the faculty, staff and students at J.Y. Joyner Elementary School.  The money raised by the Foundation provides salaries for positions in danger of elimination due to the loss of State funding. Since its inception, through the generosity of Joyner families and community businesses, the Foundation has been able to help fund positions for teacher’s assistants, Spanish teachers and Technology teachers.

With your generous donation, the Foundation will be able to continue its commitment to Joyner’s academic excellence.  Each contribution goes a long way in helping us reach our fundraising goals.  Please consider donating an item today!
