Locked Up
I want to be outside
Smell the fresh air
And see the mountainside
Being taught anything
Watch and listen
And learn many things

Juvenile Justice Ministry seeks to serve kids who are "Locked Up" like "Aaron." Kids who often feel at a very young age that being "Locked Up" just may be the only way of life for them. They struggle to identify people in their lives to show them anything other than a life of inconsistency, drugs and crime, so most of them long for their 18th birthday as some hope of freedom in the midst of their chaos. But at 12:01 a.m. on their 18th birthday, will that be the switch that's flipped to erase their record and give them a fresh start - a new life? Or is it a sense of impending doom? The start of the rest of their lives being nothing but "Locked Up"?

Our aim is to show consistent love and truth that we pray leads incarcerated teens to a longing and hope far greater than 12:01 a.m. could ever bring. Thank you for being a part of transformation for kids like "Aaron."

Our annual golf tournament is a 4-man scramble benefitting the outreach of Juvenile Justice Ministry, serving kids in our local detention facility. Gift bags, continental breakfast, on-course refreshments, and lunch are provided for each player. Hole prizes, raffle prizes, low gross, low net, and last place prizes are awarded.
