The service and support these dogs provide to our First Responders and Veterans is beyond measure.

Proceeds will help provide Police and Service Dogs for our First Responders and Veterans.  Sadly, hundreds of Police Dogs are injured and killed in the Line of Duty yearly.  Training of Police Dogs is not only costly but time consuming; therefore, there is an inadequate number of dogs ready to fill in the gaps and many K-9 handlers are left partnerless. Currently, the VA will not pay for service dogs to treat post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health conditions. There is an increasingly widespread want/need/demand for well-trained dogs to help improve the lives of our Veterans. Service and Police Dogs don’t work for money or benefits.  They work purely for love!

Officer Brian Kanterman died in the Line of Duty on Christmas Day 2018, at the age of 25.  He dedicated his life to service and it was his dream to be promoted to a K-9 officer and to find a way to help fill the void with Service Dogs for both Police and Veterans.

Proceeds from this event will be used to train and donate Police Dogs to replace those that died in the Line of Duty; to rescue shelter dogs to be trained as Service Dogs and donated to Veterans; to pay for the training of Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT's; and to provide scholarships for those looking to become a Police Officer or go into Criminal Justice.
