Description
The 4th Annual Keaton Barrón Charity Auction will be held on Friday, September 29 at beautiful Aspen Ranch in Edmond, Oklahoma. This event, named after the K Club's founder, is the K Club's largest fundraiser of the year and includes dinner and drinks, a dessert auction, live and silent auction, wine pull, raffle, appearances by patients, scholarship presentations and more.
The event has sold out each year, and this year the K Club anticipates 400 guests. Proceeds from the event benefit the K Club, which provides JOY and kindness to children fighting cancer and their families. Programs include the following:
- Monthly Lego Parties at the hospital
- Monthly Theme Parties at the hospital
- Care packages
- Assistance with funeral costs for children who have passed away from cancer
- Birthday celebrations
- Gifts of encouragement for children and family members
- "Breakout Parties" for children leaving the hospital following a stem cell transplant
- Bell Ringing Celebrations for children finishing treatment
- Staff appreciation
