Description

Kennesaw Mountainfest celebrates the arts with food and craft vendors, kids’ zone, live music and silent auction. Thousands of people from the surrounding communities will come for a fun-filled day and evening supporting the arts. Kennesaw Mountainfest will be held on April 13, 2024 at Kennesaw Mountain High School and directly benefits the Kennesaw Mountain Arts Department.
The benefits of a successful arts department are evident throughout the community and beyond. Kennesaw Mountain hosts the Kennesaw Mountain Marching Invitational and Kennesaw Mountain Visual Invitational annually which provides opportunities for other schools to participate in arts competitions. The arts department is invited to participate in many prestigious events throughout the region.
Kennesaw Mountain Arts Department is well-recognized for their accomplishments. Most recently the drama club was named 5-7A Region One-Act Champions and the marching band was named 2A Class Champions at the Regional Bands of America Competition. The band was also awarded 2A Outstanding Music Performance, 2A Outstanding Visual Performance, Overall 2nd Place, Overall Outstanding Music Performance, and Overall Outstanding Visual Performance. The Kennesaw Mountain Band is one of eight schools in the nation named 2023 Division Winner of the Program of Excellence Blue Ribbon Award presented by the National Band Association.
We are seeking help from businesses with donations of items, tickets, services, or gift cards to be a part of the silent auction. Any and every donation will go to auction offerings and be used to raise funds for the program. The event is a great opportunity to support Kennesaw Mountain Arts Department and receive recognition for your business.

Kennesaw Mountain High School is a diverse school in the suburbs of Atlanta. The Arts Department within the school provides fine arts classes during the school day and an array of extracurricular activities to students in 9th-12th grades. The school district provides a small portion of the funds needed, but a group of parent and alumni volunteers coordinate several fundraisers to keep the programs going strong. One of the most important fundraisers is our silent auction, which will run concurrently with our arts festival, Kennesaw Mountainfest which will host thousands of people. The silent auction alone is projected to make $30,000.
It's inspiring to see that the Arts Department at Kennesaw Mountain does much more than create beautiful artwork, plays, and musical performances that they share with the community and beyond taking their art to competitions sometimes across state lines. The dedicated teachers also facilitate student growth in leadership, goal-setting, and character-building, which is essential for their holistic development. It's touching to see how students form lifelong friendships while working together on a common goal. The Kennesaw Mountain Arts Department has an immeasurable impact on the community.
