Description

At the end of every school year, we hold a school carnival and fundraiser for our school. As a public school located in East side St. Paul with a high population of students from low-income families, we make a lot of the event free for our families, including a baseline amount of games and food. We do this to ensure all kids can enjoy the carnival regardless of income. Because of this approach, the amount of funds raised from the actual carnival is limited, with the main source of fundraising from the event being the silent auction. Donations to support our silent auction allows us to keep the carnival accessible to all students. Other ways to support this event are concession or prize donations to keep purchase costs down. This event means so much to our school, especially our 5th graders who are heading off to middle school. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
