Youth Guidance's Associate Board’s “Kick-Off for Kids” fundraiser will take place on Saturday, November 4th at Sully’s House Sports Bar in Chicago, IL.

Your support of Youth Guidance directly enables children in Chicago’s most at-risk communities to receive the guidance and tools that they need to succeed in school and in life. Our programs now reach more than 14,000 youth directly. Becoming a Man (BAM), our nationally recognized, evidence-based program for young men, expanded this year to serve more than 8,000 students. A University of Chicago Crime Lab study showed BAM reduces violent crime arrests by 50% and increases on-time high school graduation rates by nearly 20%. In addition, our Working on Womanhood (WOW) program helps to reduce depression and anxiety symptoms for young women struggling with on average more than five traumatic events in their young lives. The WOW program will provide counseling support to over 2,400 young women in more than 50 school locations this year.
