The HSC Pediatric Center’s Kids in Action program is hosting our 14th Annual Crab Feast Fundraiser event! The Crab Feast & Raffle, sponsored by Beautiful Home Services and Quarterdeck Restaurant will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

As the only hospital in the Washington metropolitan area dedicated to the rehabilitation and care of children with special health care needs, The HSC Pediatric Center sponsors the HSC Kids in Action program to provide athletic, social and health-based activities for children, teens and young adults with complex and special health care needs and their siblings.

Thanks to this fundraiser’s proceeds, the HSC Kids in Action program will be able to continue offering year-round adaptive and inclusive opportunities at little or no cost, including adaptive basketball,bowling, martial arts, swimming, therapeutic horseback riding, yoga, and other activities to more than 500 local children with special health care needs. These events help increase physical activity, self-esteem, socialization, and confidence while
focusing on each child’s strengths. Our events and activities are often the first experience that our participants are offered to join a team sport or activity with their peers.

To help us raise funds to support the HSC Kids in Action program, we ask local businesses to donate gift certificates and/or gift baskets to be used as raffle prizes. Can we count on your support to meet our goal of raising $25,000? Any type of donation would be most appreciated!
