Description

Hello Friends of Hunger Task Force,

We are excited to be a part of the second annual La Crosse Winter Roots Festival! Please join us Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the La Crosse Center’s beautiful, newly renovated Riverside Ballroom overlooking the Mississippi.

Musical entertainment includes live music from regional favorites Phoenix, Chicken Wire Empire, The Lavender Project, Smokin Bandits and The Remainders!  The Driftless Maker’s Exchange will be bringing in over 20 artists and makers to showcase and sell their wares.

The Hunger Task Force volunteers are planning a fabulous silent auction and raffle drawings with all proceeds to benefit HTF. This is where we need your help!  Would you please consider donating goods or a gift certificate for services that we can use for the auction or raffle?  We will be happy to display your business name with your donation item or add your name to our donation recognition display for your cash donation. It’s a great opportunity to showcase your business as a partner in fighting hunger in our area.  Last year we had over 1,300 attendees!

If you can help us help those in need, please contact the Hunger Task Force office to arrange for pick up or feel free to mail or drop off your donation to us using the contact information below before February 1st.  Donations are tax deductible!  A donation receipt will be provided upon request.

We thank you for helping us fight hunger and appreciate all you do for the greater La Crosse area.  The Hunger Task Force is your Free and Local food bank, serving 120 food pantries, meal sites, and youth programs.  You can visit lacrosselocal.com/rootsfest for all the details!  We hope you can be a part of this event!

 In Service,

Shelly Fortner
