Join us to bring community awareness and to raise money for Latinx survivors of domestic violence! Individual registrations $150 and foursome registrations $550.

Our silent auction Will take place from June 18th - June 21st virtualy!

About us!
Our staff is fluent in Spanish and provides compassionate, caring, and culturally responsive services.

Our principal goal is to assist latinx survivors of domestic violence to move beyond the cycle of violence and achieve healthy independence. Latina SafeHouse advocates and educates, to increase community awareness and access to domestic violence survivor services.

One in Three
The fight against domestic violence is an uphill battle. Throughout the US an average of 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence during their lifetime. However, within the Latinx community, this number jumps to 1 in 3.

The survivors we serve face additional barriers due to institutionalized discrimination, cultural barriers, and demographic factors. Added Potential Barriers Faced by Latinx Survivors include:

Threat and/or fear of deportation
Lack of language accessibility
Cultural insensitivity when seeking services
Mixed-status family unit
Who Do We Serve?
The survivors we serve identify as: immigrants, undocumented, refugees, homeless, mixed-status families, low-income, limited English proficient, transgender, and survivors.

Ages for survivors range from 18 – 78.

Ages for children of survivors range from newborn – 18 years old.

Almost 95% of the survivors we serve have children.

Approximately 50% of the survivors we serve are experiencing homelessness.

Our Impact
In 2021, we directly served 375 survivors and children, providing more than $181,000 in direct financial assistance for basic needs. We could not have done this without people like you!
