The need

As one of the first hospitals operating in Los Angeles, Dignity Health – California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC) has provided generations of care to our diverse community since 1887.

100% of the contributions raised will support the Health Equity Fund, a donor-supported fund with the goal of advancing health equity for our most vulnerable
community members. The fund will help change life trajectories by supporting CHMC’s work on the following priorities: creating healthier communities, homelessness, behavioral health, human trafficking and training the next generation of caregivers.

The event

One of the most talked about evenings in Los Angeles, La Grande Affaire has been a signature event for over 30 years. Returning to the luxurious JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A.
LIVE, this black-tie gala features tasting stations during the reception followed by a three-course gourmet menu with paired wine, live musical entertainment, dancing, and silent and live auction. This year we are pleased to welcome back Eric Branger, Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, who honed his skills with Michelin-starred talents in Europe. The restaurants he launched have received honors from Bon Appétit, Food & Wine and the James Beard Foundation.
