To further this fight against cystic fibrosis, the Los Angeles chapter will host LA’s Finest, Walk the Purple Carpet event honoring our chapter’s best and brightest young professionals. The event will have a gathering of honorees who show exemplary leadership, are active in their communities, and have excelled in their profession or business. These leaders are not only making a positive local impact, but they’re also committed to supporting the Foundation’s mission.

Those who participate are given the opportunity to display their community involvement and highlight their professional achievements, while raising funds to help provide all people with cystic fibrosis the opportunity to lead full, productive lives.

 We invite you to be a part of this year’s auction on November 9, 2023 at The Garland. Funds raised at LA’s Finest will go to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to CURE cystic fibrosis and provide ALL people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care. We are driven by a dream that one day – every person with cystic fibrosis will have the chance to live a long, healthy life. Recognized globally, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has led the way in the fight against cystic fibrosis, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has helped advance the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and added decades of life for those with CF. Thanks to this work, the life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years. 

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening, disease affecting 40,000 children and adults in the United States alone.  The respiratory system and digestive tract are both compromised by CF, making involuntary activities, like breathing and eating, extraordinarily difficult.  Scientific research is at its peak in this field; however, our work is not done.
