We will be holding our annual Lab Rescue Basket Raffle and Silent Auction on December 2, 2017 in Annandale, VA.  It would mean so much if you would consider supporting our lifesaving efforts by donating a gift certificate/gift card, gift basket, or item to help us reach our goal of raising $15,000 to provide veterinary care for the nearly 1,000 dogs that come into the rescue’s care each year.

This annual event draws between 250-300 volunteers, families who have adopted dogs from the rescue, and supporters.  The event features both a gift basket raffle and silent auction.

Lab Rescue of the LRCP is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of Labrador Retrievers who would otherwise die in overcrowded shelters. We serve MD, DC, VA, WV, DE, PA and parts of NC and OH. We focus all our efforts to save Labs in need from shelters, humane societies, and owners who can no longer care for them. All the dogs brought into the rescue’s care are provided with rabies and distemper shots, tested for Heartworm, Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, and spayed/neutered. Sometimes we heal the dog’s spirit, but we also treat broken bones, deadly diseases such as Heartworm disease, remove cancerous growths, and treat parasitic conditions.
