On behalf of the entire Lafayette family, we would like to invite you to donate an item or experience to the annual Lafayette Elementary School Spring Auction. On May 4th, the Lafayette community will come together for this annual event benefiting the Lafayette HSA.

Lafayette remains the largest public elementary school in the District with over 900 enrolled students, but it receives less money per student than other DC schools. The funds raised by the HSA play a huge role in supplementing integral programs and supplies not provided by DC Public Schools: instructional materials and supplies to fill classrooms and stock library shelves; more art, science, and music instruction for our students; as well as after-school programs and our renowned Peace Program, to name just a few.

Our annual auction is the school’s largest and highest profile fundraiser. There were more than 400 attendees at last year’s auction, including parents, teachers, staff, and a cross-section of supporters from all over the District.
