Description
North Country Health and Wellness will host the inaugural Lake City Running Festival on May 28th, 2023. The event will start with a half marathon, 10k, 5k, and relay run/walk. The event will then switch over to a festival with games, race awards, food, prizes, and a very popular live local band.
All proceeds from the event are to support NCHW's youth sports program which provides financial assisance to low income families with children wishing to participate in sports. The proceeds will also suport the first NCHW Summer Sport program that aims to introduce young children to various sports in an effort to combat youth weight related illnesses, socialize children, and build their sport skills
