Serving the communities of Erie, Lawrence Park, Harborcreek, and North East, the Eastside Family YMCA Swim Team is home to nearly 40 families, with swimmers between the ages of 5 and 18. We provide safe, healthy activity for over 50 swimmers for over 6-months each year. The swimmers receive high quality coaching, and personal development opportunities. Despite our small size and non-selective nature, we consistently compete at a high level, as many athletes qualify for District and State Championship meets with YMCA swimming.

This year, to continue to improve our team, inspire our athletes, and serve our community, we are looking for team sponsors for our Eastside Lake Effect Invitational on February 11th, 2023. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, where we host a large swim meet at Iroquois High School, serving 9 teams in the Northwestern Pennsylvania YMCA Swimming League. Over 300 swimmers and their families attend this event. This fundraiser helps to offset the cost of our facility fees, administrative costs, travel expenses, as well as provide us with additional funds for team gear, caps, and equipment upgrades.

Your generous donation will help support our Eastside Family YMCA Team and all proceeds will return to supporting the cost of hosting this event in our community.
