Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9, 2025.  We are planning a fantastic week for our Lamar teachers and staff. We love to honor the Lamar teachers who have worked hard all year long beside their support staff to teach our communities children and ready them for their future adult life. It is a tough job especially in the high school years.

Each day the PTO sponsors meals for the teachers and staff with help from our parent volunteers and community. The teachers and staff will also be involved in daily raffles for gift cards, prizes and/or gift items. Would consider donating a gift basket, gift card or tickets to a local event? Together we can show our appreciation for the job they do in our community.

We have approximately 250 teachers and support staff that will participate in the celebration. All gifts will be mentioned on invitations and banners and will go directly to the teachers and staff to enjoy.  Lamar is a nonprofit organization and your gift is a tax deduction.
