The Friends of the Lansing Public Library (501(c)3), located in Lansing, Illinois will be hosting our annual Community Block Party at the Library on June 7, 2025 this year. The immediate community and surrounding communities celebrate the festivities in a family and literacy setting with: Petting Zoo, face painting, eating from local vendors, book sales, special programs & activites with emphasis on literacy and health for all ages groups As well as guests appearances by our local firemen and police department with dogs as well, to name a few. This event will be facilitated by library staff and a host of approximately thirty volunteers- from the Friends of Lansing Public Library.

This will be our second year having our Silent Auction. All proceeds will be go to The Lansing Public Library. All and any items donated will be for the Silent Auction Event. All Donors/ Sponsors will be advertised before, during and after the event on social media via FaceBook, library newsletter calendar, and library and "Friends" website. All winners will be photographed with caption and Thank You to specific donor with item(s) donated on our webpage and yours.
