Originally formed in 1956 as a school for children with special needs (The Lansing School of Special Education), LARC has grown to provide day training, work activities, and senior programs to approximately 100 adults with developmental disabilities from across the region; in our main facility, within the community, and in our community-integrated homes.

It is with great excitement that we invite you to participate in a very special event.  On Friday, April 24, 2020, we will be hosting our Annual Appreciation Dinner at The Serbian Social Center in Lansing to celebrate the many achievements and accomplishments of LARC and its clients.  The event will raise more than $20,000 to promote job training and employment, daily life skills enrichment, senior care, 24-hour residential services, and special recreation to more than 100 adults with special needs served by LARC each day.
