Each year, Orthopaedic Institute for Children – established in 1911 as Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital – provides more than 60,000 patient visits to children with orthopaedic disease, disorders and traumatic injury, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. At Orthopaedic Institute for Children (“OIC”), uninsured or underinsured children are never turned away and the need for services is continually growing. Now more than ever we need your help.

Las Madrecitas is a Palos Verdes – based 501(c)(3) non-profit auxiliary of the Charitable Children’s Guild of OIC. Proceeds generated through our Fall Fundraiser help OIC continue to provide expert and compassionate care to children with clubfoot, scoliosis, hemophilia, cerebral palsy and other musculoskeletal disorders, as well as fractured bones. For over 111 years, Orthopaedic Institute for Children has been a safety net for children in need of orthopaedic attention and treatment.

We are seeking your support for Las Madrecitas’ annual Fall Fundraiser, an event benefiting OIC, to take place October 13, 2023 at The California Club, Los Angeles. This event will feature a high-quality silent auction, and will attract around 200 patrons including prominent local business and community leaders, Luskin OIC physicians and executives, and other stakeholders.

In addition to supporting the work of Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children, your involvement with our Fall Fundraiser provides you with the benefit to promote your business as you demonstrate your commitment to a great cause.
