Our annual Laton FFA Alumni & Supporters Group will be holding our Annual Dinner-Dance on September 17th from 6 - 12 PM. The event will have a dinner, silent, live auctions and dancing. We annually host an estimated 200+ guests. Income earned from the event go to help our local chapter to offset costs associated with leadership conferences, scholarships, supporting our fair exhibitors with drinks and food during our county fair, awards and sending our students to their State FFA Convention. Our local chapter bosts 122 members of our 130 member school. We are a small rural community made up of a high percentage of migrant workers and our students are on a free meal plan. Poverty is a large part of our community so any support that we can provide students is often the only means that they have to participate and attend events.
