Over the past 27 years, Laura's House has provided shelter and support services to more than 6,000 battered women and children and counseling, life skills education and legal assistance to over 68,000 persons. Laura’s House’s mission is to change social beliefs and attitudes and the behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse.  Laura’s House provides emergency shelter, a 24 hour crisis hotline, transitional housing, support services to women and children, counseling, life skills and legal advocacy to families affected by domestic violence.
