Description

It is an honor to have so many supporters who wear cowboy hats for a living come together for

one purpose, bringing joy to the children of The Learning Tree. Everyone will come for a

different reason (a child with special needs, a mom, a loving dad, an aunt, a community

member) but they will all leave a modern cowboy. We hope you will join us as we celebrate and

Bp our hats to a wonderful group of children. All proceeds will provide ABA therapy and other

medical, educational, or group home needs for the programs of The Learning Tree.

The Learning Tree is proud to host the first inaugural Learning Tree Charity Classic (LTCC), a team

roping competition. The LTCC will be held in Franklin, Georgia at Heard County Covered Area on

Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, 5th, 2024. This event will be advertised across the southeast to

invite participants from all over to show their support as they vie for first place in their division.

Hundreds of cowboys and cowgirls will merge to try their hand at winning buckles, saddles,

and much more, all in support of The Learning Tree children. Allen’s Roping Productions will be

the stock contractor and produce the day’s events. Attendance is free for the public to watch

their favorite roper, shop with vendors and show support for the children of The Learning Tree.

The LTCC event books will open at 8 am, with events starting at 9 am. Ropers will be able to

enter in the 13.5 down to an 8.5. Prizes range from buckles to saddles. The Junior Looper

competition will be the highlight of the day. Children in age divisions (6 and under, 7-9, and 10-

12) will be competing for buckles in their very own Junior Looper competition on a roping

dummy around noon. Watch these future professional ropers show off their roping skills as they

vie for their very own spot at the top!

The highlight of the event will be the Trophy Trailer going to the high-point roper of the 8.5

roping. This Trophy Trailer will be decked out with the sponsor logos and event logo for the

winning roper to show off around town or on their next roping adventure. The Learning Tree is

pleased to work with a local trailer dealer to have this amazing prize to offer to the high-point

roper.

Sponsorships for the LTCC are available by contacting Erica Brown at 256-490-1648, or

ebrown@learning-tree.org. We are excited to be able to offer this family fun event and support

the children in our programs.
