I am writing to you on behalf of the Leland Bridge Parent Group. Leland Bridge is a nonprofit parent club of Leland High School with tax ID 81-0567555. Our mission has been to strengthen communication between Leland High School and its Chinese American community and we have helped to fundraise and support various school programs since 2001. Every year, Leland Bridge Parents Group donates $20,000 - $25,000 to Leland High School. The funding is mainly used for school equipment, supporting various school programs including speech and debate, Robotics FTC 8404 and 604 teams, school journalism and school clubs, and holding events, such as Leland Bridge Night, Freshman Welcome Party, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, and seminars, etc.

Leland Bridge Night is our major annual fundraising event held around Chinese New Year, and will be held this school year on February 3rd, 2024. During Leland Bridge Night, Leland parents and students come together to present amazing performances. Besides current Leland families, prospective families, alumni, teachers, administration, as well as distinguished guests from San Jose Unified School District and San Jose City Council also join this special occasion. The festive celebration keeps them returning to this meaningful event year after year.

We sincerely request your support in donating raffle prizes and/or auction items for our events, as it would greatly benefit the students. Another way that you can demonstrate your support is through purchasing advertisements, where we will post your store ads on our Leland Bridge Night show program website. Your contributions will go a long way to making our events successful which will benefit the school and its students. This donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
