On behalf of The Cure Starts Now – Cedar Hill Chapter, I’d like to ask for your donation or sponsorship for our 1st Annual Texas Let's Par-Tea, scheduled for July 16, 2023 at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center. This event will raise funds in honor of children who lost their battle to the deadliest brain cancer, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The money raised will be used to further research for pediatric brain cancer.

 
Cancer is the leading cause of disease-associated mortality in children aged younger than 19 years in the United States. Yet, only 4% of government funding for medical research is allocated to pediatric oncology. Through donors like you, The Cure Starts Now has been able to fund more than 133 grants and provide more than $21M in research dollars, and every dollar, no matter the size, counts! 

My daughter Sarai was diagnosed with this deadly brain tumor on February 21, 2017. She fought strong and hard for seven months. In her honor, I promised to always fight for a cure so no other family would have to say goodbye to their child because of DIPG.
