SUPPORT THE PERFORMING ARTS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Dear Merchant, Supporter, and Friend

Every year our school holds a Gala and Auction to help raise funds to support these partnerships. I am writing today to ask if you would consider making a donation. By donating to our school, your business will receive valuable exposure and visibility through our communication campaign and auction seen by over 400 families from all 5 boroughs of NYC.

If you’re not familiar, PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School M408) is a public middle and high school located in New York City’s Times Square.

Our culturally-diverse student body represents the finest up-and-coming talent in New York City. Many of our students have already been or are currently on Broadway, TV, and film. Some of our famous alumni include Alicia Keys, Sarah Hyland, and Claire Danes.

PPAS is a unique audition-based, performing arts school within the NYC DOE. Our school is built upon successful private-to-public partnerships with world-renowned arts partners: Alvin Ailey, SAB, Rosie's Theater Kids, National Chorale, and Waterwell. Our students are very fortunate to learn from these professional artists, dancers, singers, actors, and teachers who expertly emphasize the importance of training, commitment, and hard work. The PPAS PTA's mission is to provide support and resources for the benefit and educational growth of our students as both developing artists and as citizens of the world. The things that make PPAS special are made possible, in part, by the money raised to fund programs. We are leaning on the community to help us support PPAS to overcome some very big budget deficits this year.

Your support means so much to us!

Kind Regards,

Shawn Dell

Gala Coordinator
