The Special Olympics Mission:
To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with
intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and
participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

Lewisville ISD Special Olympics Texas Team
The Lewisville LISD Special Olympics Team represents athletes from the Lewisville Independent School District, including Lewisville,
Flower Mound, Highland Village, Double Oak, Copper Canyon, The Colony, and parts of Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Hebron, Coppell,
Grapevine & Argyle. Your donation helps our athletes compete in such sports as Swimming, Soccer, Football, Golf, Basketball, Bowling,
Softball, Gymnastics, Track, Tennis, Cycling, & Bocce at Area, State, National, and World games!

The money is used for Uniforms, Venue's, Transportation, Food and Lodging for State events.  All coaches and volunteers are just that, Volunteers....  No one is paid to run or help with these teams.  We have over 200 athletes that participate in various different sports.
