Description

Friends of the Hawthorne and Wiseburn Libraries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to build and strengthen community support for the Hawthorne and Wiseburn public libraries. We view the libraries as cultural, educational, and recreational assets to our community—places where people can gather to explore, interact, and imagine. And we’re committed to ensuring that the libraries have the resources they need to play this essential role in our community. Throughout the year, Friends of the Libraries sponsors a variety of youth programs, including: reading contests, STEAM programs, makers' space events, and book clubs. We kindly request a donation so that we may recognize the achievements of our libraries' outstanding youth, those who explore, interact, and imagine to make our community a better place.
