Description

Kara's annual fundraising event is called "Life's Greatest Gift: Love and A Life Well Lived". The event will be held at Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto, with 225 guests attending. We are soliciting in-kind donations that can be included in Kara's Live Auction Packages.

The event speaker is Dr. Charles Garfield, psychologist, professor, author, and founder of The Shanti Project in San Francisco. Dr. Garfield was instrumental in the founding of Kara in 1976 as an agency that offers grief counseling and educational programs for grieving children, adults, families, and organizations.
