As a member of the San Francisco Bay Area business community, we are often called upon to contribute to wonderful charitable organizations. CSAA Walnut Creek, Dan’s Bar and The Garden Walnut Creek are teaming up to host the 12th annual Light the Night fundraiser. All funds raised will go directly to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the leading source of free, highly specialized blood cancer information, education and support for patients, survivors, families and healthcare professionals.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds leading-edge research for every type of blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other rare types of blood cancers. As the largest nonprofit funder of cutting-edge blood cancer research to advance cures, LLS has invested more than $1.6 billion in cancer research since it started in 1949, leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.

LLS helped advance 70% of the blood cancer treatment options approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration since 2017.

By donating to our fundraising event on Friday, October 27th, 2023, your company will be supporting cutting-edge research and innovative programs that improve the quality of life of cancer patients and their families. We are aiming to raise $20,000 to help the fight against blood cancers!
