On Thursday, May 12, 2022, the Los Angeles-based non-profit, Blind Children’s Center, will once again hold our annual Light the Way Celebration Gala Luncheon at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. All proceeds from the event will benefit Blind Children’s Center as we continue our mission to prepare children who are visually impaired to thrive in a sighted world through inclusive, family-focused early intervention and child development programs. Founded in 1938, the Blind Children’s Center provides early educational services and therapeutic interventions for the many children in Los Angeles facing blindness and other severe visual impairments.

 I am writing today requesting your consideration of a donation for our Gala silent auction. Your generous gift is sure to draw a crowd of bidders and raise significant funds which will make a difference in the lives of our many students who are blind or visually impaired.
