Light Up the Night is the annual fundraising gala for Community of Peace Academy, a tuition-free public charter school in St. Paul, MN. Light Up the Night features a silent auction, raffle, and trivia. Money raised at this event will go toward our Angel Fund, which is used to support our students and families in crisis. We serve approximately 800 students in preschool through 12th grade. Ours is an ethnically and racially diverse community, and 85% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches, the national indicator of poverty in the US. The support we are able to provide through the Angel Fund has filled empty kitchen cupboards, purchased eyeglasses for students who can't see the board, ensured transportation for students with unstable housing, and more. Any support would be much appreciated.
