On November 9th, 2019, Kiwanis Aktion Club is having our annual fundraiser. We are helping to break the cycle of poverty in Central Florida by raising money at our “Light Up the Night” party and silent auction.
The funds raised will be used for meals and backpacks for the “Motel Kids” that reside here in Central Florida. Sadly, the only meal most of these children get is the one at school. Each meal bag is easily prepared on a single burner hot-plate and feeds up to four. 
Aktion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities, with more than 12,000 members worldwide. We provide adults living with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative, leadership skills, and to serve their communities. Our areas of philanthropy include childhood education, hunger, and the promotion of arts.
