Description

With 2022 well underway, the Lingleville Volunteer Fire Department’s 19th Annual Benefit Raffle is quickly approaching. As in past years, we receive a $600.00 monthly allotment from Erath County, but rely on raised and donated money for a majority of our operation. Money from this fundraiser is used to help pay for fire schools and training for our volunteers, insurance on the fire station, equipment and fire trucks, workman’s comp insurance, fuel, and safety gear. All of this is essential to the success of our fire department, and we need outside support to obtain it.

Your business can help by donating a door prize that we will award the night of our dinner. We sell 300 raffle tickets and all are drawn the night of the dinner that we provide for ticket holders. The 299th ticket drawn will win a 42-inch, zero turn, John Deere 42” Zero Turn lawn mower and the 300th ticket drawn will win a John Deere 2022 HPX615E Gator. We would like to continue our tradition of providing door prizes for the first ticket drawn, eight of the final ten tickets who do not win, and several other tickets in between. This year’s raffle will be held Saturday April 9, 2022 with 250 to 300 people in attendance.

As a small, unincorporated community, Lingleville has only a public school, two churches, a small general store and a post office. Though the community does their best to support us, we rely on the help of out of town businesses to keep our fire department in top functioning condition.

If your business is able to grant us a donation, Lingleville Volunteer Fire Department will return the gesture through promotion the night of the dinner. Each donated item will be displayed along with a sign for the company that donated it and each dinner table has flyers with lists of the items and businesses who donated them. Donations will be accepted through the day of the event.

On behalf of the Lingleville Volunteer Fire Department, thank you for taking the time to read a little more about us and consider donating to our cause. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, Albert Ray at 254-977-5731.
