     REF: This letter serves as a formal request for a donation to our annual fundraising event titled the     
     Olney Lions Club - Online Silent Auction, (opening on the 10th of June 2023 and closing on  
     September 5, 2023 and the Olney Lions Club’s – 30th Olney Open Charity Golf Tournament, held on 12 September 2023
 
Dear Offices of Corporate Donation,
The Olney Lions Club will be presenting an Online Silent Auction, and Golf Tournament. A donation from your organization(s), will bring many bidders to our Online Silent Auction.  Proceeds from our Online Silent Auction will assist the Olney Lions Club in its “Mission” of caring for those in need in our and surrounding communities in which we serve.
 
The Olney Lions Club’s Online Silent Auction, opens on the 10th of June 2023 and remains “Live” until the 5th of September 2023. Funds raised from your donation will help the Olney Lions Club continue its “Mission” to support many local organizations, programs and events such as the Lions Vision Research Foundation -Wilmer Eye Institute, Lions Camp Merrick for Children with Special Needs, Kids with Cancer, free Pre- School Vision Screening and eye glasses for young children and adults, Olney Boys and Girls Clubs,  Olney Help, Manna Food Center, Olney Food Bank, Winter Growth for the elderly, Olney Lions Service and College Scholarships, local blood drives, Womens Board of Montgomery General Hospital, and many more charities.
 
We continue to partner with Mr. Rich Leotta, the father of Montgomery County Police Officer Noah Leotta, supporting his son’s legacy of saving lives with the “Act Responsibly Scholarship” fund.
 
For tax donation purposes, our Federal Identification Number, is 01-0741661, identifying the Lions Club of Olney Foundation as a registered 501(C) (3) charitable organization.
