Our biggest fundraising event, the 17th Annual Gala & Auction, themed “Little City, Big Joy” is scheduled for Friday, May 19th at the Washington Golf & Country Club. Last year’s Gala & Auction was a sellout event with over 400 of the “Little City’s” most involved community members and decision makers joining in a fabulous evening celebrating and supporting our schools. Proceeds from the event allowed FCEF to continue with a 9th year of its well-received “Super Grants” program and 8th year of “Advanced Training Grants” program as well as support for our ESOL, Special Education and financially disadvantaged students. Over the past eight years, the Foundation has awarded over $2M to support Falls Church City Public Schools students and staff.
