Born in Marin, Little Wishes is headed back to our founding community for this Spring’s fundraiser. Little Wishes’ 20th Anniversary Starlight Soiree will be an important night, celebrating twenty years of making a BIG impact on the lives of seriously ill, hospitalized children; and raising funds to continue to do so. Guests will raise a glass (and paddle!) and become a bright light for children facing difficult medical journeys. 

Little Wishes has granted almost 22,000 wishes to date. During the pandemic we continued to grant wishes to children who were isolated in their hospital rooms, with only one parent allowed at their bedside. Wishing for something that will fill their heart every two weeks gives a hospitalized child a positive event to look forward to. Some children spend hours searching online for their wish, providing distraction and a sense of control. Milestones spent in the hospital are also celebrated including birthdays, graduations, and our favorite – completion of treatment. Receiving wishes helps our little patients escape into the land of play and replaces anxiety and pain with hope and joy.  

Little Wishes' 20th Anniversary Starlight Soiree will be held at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Always a popular event, we expect more than 175 people to attend.
