On Saturday, November 19, 2022 6:30-10:30 at Circle R Ranch, the Duke Carrillo Foundation will be hosting the second annual “Live Like Duke” Benefit and silent auction. Please wear your favorite western attire and join us for a fun night with live music, BBQ meal, drinks, dancing and silent auction.

Duke Carrillo was raised in Flower Mound, Texas and was a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly during training exercises at the USNA in February, 2020. Duke was an exceptional student and was pursuing a degree in quantitative economics with the goal of becoming a naval aviator. The Duke Carrillo Foundation was established to honor Duke’s legacy of academic excellence, service to community and country, and commitment to athletics; in other words, what it means to “Live Like Duke.”Accordingly, the Foundation has awarded six scholarships to college-bound seniors from the class of 2022 at Duke’s alma mater, Flower Mound High School. In addition, the Foundation is funding the Duke Carrillo Scholars Fund at the United States Naval Academy to allow current midshipmen the opportunity to participate in leadership enrichment experiences.
