Description

The United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut’s (UWCWC) Live United Golf Tournament unites golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and generous sponsors to support UWCWC’s mission of helping local families in need.

Event Sponsors
This event is made possible thanks to the support of sponsors, including Webster Bank, Synchrony, Newtown Savings Bank, Ives Bank, and Hawley Management Company.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, CT, the tournament offers a full day of activities, including lunch, a Shotgun Start, a cocktail hour, dinner, and a silent auction and raffle.

All proceeds from this event directly benefit UWCWC’s work with ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households—families who struggle to meet basic needs or are just one crisis away from financial instability. In Fairfield and Southern Litchfield Counties, 42% of households fall below the ALICE threshold, grappling with challenges related to housing, food, transportation, childcare, healthcare, and utilities.

UWCWC serves over 25% of the state’s population, across 27 communities in Fairfield and Southern Litchfield Counties. Through a powerful combination of direct services, community partnerships, impact philanthropy, and advocacy, UWCWC is working to create lasting improvements in economic opportunities and outcomes for ALICE households. This tournament plays a crucial role in raising the funds needed to address the pressing challenges these families face and to foster lasting, positive change in the community.
