The Loaves & Fishes Awards Dinner & Gala honors extraordinary charitable works in our community and raises vital funds for the programs of Catholic Charities. At this year's October 17, 2024 dinner and milestone 27th gala at The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, honoree Order of Malta, Western Association will be celebrated for their extensive philanthropic work in our community.

Begun in 1998 to honor individuals, organizations, and corporations for their exemplary charitable social works, Loaves & Fishes has generated more than $11.6 million in direct services to those most in need. It is our major annual fundraising event, generating more than $750,000 annually in critical funding for Catholic Charities programs.

Catholic Charities is one of the largest, most comprehensive human services agencies in Northern California serving more than 70,000 people in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties annually. We are an integral part of our communities and play a role in keeping our neighborhoods diverse, productive, safe, and healthy through more than 30 programs and social justice advocacy.
