Each year one of the oldest and most attended festivals on Long Island occurs in the summer. This
August 27, 2022 will be the 60th year of the Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games (LISFHG).
Our festival is a true family event and is held at one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, Old
Westbury Gardens in Old Westbury, NY. On average we see 6,000+ adults, seniors, and children come
through our gates to enjoy a fun-filled day.
The income from our festival enables us to run our event year after year. Also, our festival is one of the
main income producers for Old Westbury Gardens, also a non-profit organization. Since we are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) (ID # 46-4224272) and a New York State tax exempt organization (ID # ex-260908),
excess profits are donated to various Long Island charities; our largest contribution goes to Island
Harvest. Island Harvest volunteers also help us run the festival.
